In 1979 F David Barney made his dream a reality and opened his own clothing store, with the philosophy of dressing the discerning gentleman. Today these tenets still hold true. Each season our buyers travel to bring back exclusive merchandise and fabrics from around the world. A NEW CHAPTER BEGINS MID JULY

After 47 years in downtown Grand Rapids, we have closed our full service Men’s Fine Clothing location. While we have absolutely loved being downtown it is time to slow down a little. Starting in mid July we will begin a new chapter of providing gentlemen that appreciate fine clothing from our new location! 

We will be concentrating on what we do best – custom clothing & shirts as well as a limited collection of shirts, neckwear, denim and other accessories. We also have a wide selection of special order stock garments available. All done in a personalized office/showroom setting, or in the convenience of your location.
